Nottingham Poetry Festival runs from 26 April to 5 May. City Arts has helped create something super special for the festival. With Nottingham Poetry Festival and Castle Rock Brewery, we have transported some of the City’s best young poets into the world of Augmented Reality (AR).

Graphic designer Robert Newton has turned the poet’s words into AR hot-spots. You will find them at festival venues, on posters and in the brochure. If you pop for a pint you’ll see them on beer mats in Castle Rock pubs. Point you phone at one to see performances by Georgina Wilding, Amelia Daiz, Alice Peverill, Holly Taylor, James Sikora, Joe Andrews, Mollie Boyd and Patricia Gregory. Robert Newton, who devised the project, is a Senior Lecturer Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University.
