Plan your next three-dimensional art project! Are you new to making in 3D? Have you been putting off a project? Artist Cauley Irving will show you how to draw up plans that take the guesswork out of 3D making.
Together we will work through an example of a drawn plan for a 3D make. You’ll learn how to decide on dimensions and use appropriate measuring tools. Following this, Cauley will support you to create your own plan.
Leave feeling inspired and take home a plan for something you really want to make.

About the artist
Cauley Irving is a sculpture artist, prop maker and puppet maker with 10 years experience. They have made work for art, film and theatre. Cauley is a poet at heart, but with a mechanical mind.
About the Young Producers Takeover
Young Producers is a group for 18-30 year olds looking to be a part of Nottingham’s thriving creative scene. The group support and encourage each other to take part in the arts. City Arts supports the group with resources, funding and advice.
Young Producers meet monthly to share skills, plan events and exhibitions, and explore the local arts scene. Each November, Young Producers takeover the City Arts building for a mini-festival.
