Notice
Unfortunately, we are not taking referrals for ART CLUB at the moment. We are awaiting the outcome of funding bids which will allow us to continue running the programme.
In the meantime, we would encourage you to check out the art and wellbeing resources below. They were created by and for participants of our Express Yourself project.
At ART CLUB we want to help. Making art and expressing yourself is a great way to become more confident. Evidence shows that art can reduce depression and anxiety. Being creative with other people is a brilliant way to make new friends.
How does it work?
ART CLUB meets once a month at City Arts in Hockley. It is a small and supportive group. We encourage each other to share our ideas and passions.
We work on cool creative projects, which we come up with together. You can also use our art materials to work on your own projects.
You don’t need to have any previous experience of making art to take part. You don’t have to attend every workshop, but we do need to know in advance if you are coming.
Arts Awards
Club members can work towards an Arts Award qualification. Arts Award are a fantastic way to show what you’ve learned and how you are developing as an artist.
