We are inviting craftspeople, artists and designers to take part in City Arts’ annual Festive Makers’ Market at our building in Hockley, Nottingham.

The market will run from Thursday 28th November to Sunday 1st December. There will be a launch event on the evening of Wednesday 27th November. We will showcase work from selected makers in our high footfall area of Nottingham’s thriving Creative Quarter.

How it works

Selected makers will be charged a fee of £25, plus 10% of all takings. We ask each maker to volunteer some time to running the shop. This will be up to four hours over the period the shop is open.

At the opening event, we will be offering a 10% discount to customers. This will be covered by City Arts and will incur no further cost to makers.

We will run one central payment point with all transactions being logged through our point of sale. We can take both card and cash payments.

Sellers will be paid at the end of the market once all transactions have been completed and the commission has been deducted.

City Arts will provide bags and packaging, so you do not need to supply your own.
