We’ve teamed up with the Renewal Trust, Send Project and Chase Neighbourhood Centre to create the Unity Lantern Procession for Light Night at Sneinton Market 2014.  In the run up to the event we will be working with communities from St Anns and Sneinton to create beautiful willow lanterns.

On the 28th of February two lantern processions will set off, one from the Chase Neighbourhood Centre in St Anns and one from the Greenway Centre in Sneinton.  When they arrive at Sneinton Market the two processions will come together in a celebration of community and unity.  In addition to the lanterns, each procession will be accompanied by live musicians and our giant puppets.

St Anns people are invited to drop in to the Chase Neighbourhood Centre from 11am to 3pm, on Thursday 20th February, and create their own lantern to carry in the procession.

There’s loads going on at Sneinton Market on the 28th: live music, a roller rink, an open bar, food & craft stalls, face painting and much more.  It’s going to be a great night.  Find out more on Facebook.

Come down to Sneinton Market and join in all the fun.

Date: 28th February 2014

Times: The processions set off at 6.05pm and are due to arrive in Sneinton Market at approximately 6.30pm.
