We are very excited to announce that we will be working with Artdocs and in partnership with The National Trust and Nottinghamshire County Council at Clumber Park where internationally renowned artist, Paa Joe will be in residence.

Paa Joe is a Ghanian master craftsman respected the world over. As a pioneer of the fantasy coffin trade he is the most revered fantasy coffin maker alive today. His work is exhibited the world over and in his heyday he was a national treasure, opening his workshop to the likes of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.

Here is the trailer for Artdocs’ film, Paa Joe ‘Dead Not Buried’:

City Arts will be delivering a series of workshops with 3 local schools in the area and supporting a spectacular festival event that will take place on June 1st. We will be updating on the progress of this project regularly and Paa Joe arrives for the residency at the beginning of May!
