Night of Festivals Touring is a two day spectacular that will be in Nottingham on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of September 2013. The Festival will involve diverse live performances in the City Arts Dome, storytelling for families in the Night of Festivals Yurt, experimental moving image in the ArtReach Nanoplex and colourful carnival processions throughout the day.
This is a great opportunity for you to be part of a major arts event in Nottingham City Centre. By volunteering your time you will have the chance to meet other like-minded people, gain new skills and get experience of working in events.
We are looking for people to:
- Welcome Festival goers and keep them informed.
- Steward the live performance venues
- Monitor crowd levels ensuring that the capacity in these areas is not exceeded
All volunteers must be:
- Over the age of 18
- Able to attend the Festival for full onsite dates
- Friendly
- Approachable
- Comfortable speaking to members of the general public
- Able to maintain good humour throughout the day
Volunteers will need to attend a briefing that will take place in the week before the Festival.
We welcome people from all walks of life. Expenses and refreshments will be provided. Volunteers will be required to work the minimum of a three hour shift over course of the Festival. Download the volunteer specification at the end of this post.
If you wish to be involved or would like more details then please contact Beth Piggott on 0116 261 6882 or beth@artreach.biz.
