Our wonderful Young Producers group have decided they want to help people get through this difficult time of self-isolaton and social distancing.
Being creative – making art – has lots of wellbeing benefits. It can reduce feelings of isolation and promote better mental health. In our work at City Arts we see this all the time.
The Young Producers are using their Instagram to share art challenges. They want to provide you with inspiration and motivation; help you look at your surroundings in a new light; and share new skills and techniques. Anyone can take part!
Their first challenge was ZENTANGLES. It is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images from structured patterns.
About Young Producers
Young Producers is a group for 18-30 year olds looking to be a part of Nottingham’s thriving creative scene.
The group support and encourage each other to take part in the arts. City Arts supports the group with resources, funding and advice. It is part of our long-standing commitment to developing young peoples’ emerging creative talents. Group members gain experience and many have gone on to work in the arts.
Support the work of City Arts with a contribution to our costs.
The work we do to inspire creativity changes lives. We bring creativity into overlooked and undervalued communities. We offer opportunities for self-expression to people otherwise denied them. This is only possible with the kind support of our donors and funders. Your one-off donation will directly support this work.
