Our wonderful Young Producers group have decided they want to help people get through this difficult time of self-isolaton and social distancing.
Being creative – making art – has lots of wellbeing benefits. It can reduce feelings of isolation and promote better mental health. In our work at City Arts we see this all the time.
The Young Producers are using their Instagram to share art challenges. They want to provide you with inspiration and motivation; help you look at your surroundings in a new light; and share new skills and techniques. Anyone can take part!
Their first challenge was ZENTANGLES. It is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images from structured patterns.
Follow them on Instagram and share your creations with the hashtags #youngproducersnottingham and #isolationcreationchallenge.

The group support and encourage each other to take part in the arts. City Arts supports the group with resources, funding and advice.
