Refugee Week is a gesture of welcome and solidarity. It’s a celebration of cultural richness and the contribution that refugees and asylum seekers make.

Each year Refugee week has a theme. This year it is ‘Imagine’. Sadly, we can’t meet up for events and celebrations at the moment, so we had to find other ways to reach out and connect with people. We teamed up with Nottingham Contemporary and Nottingham Refugee Week to create a fun activity pack.

You can download this as a printable PDF at the bottom of this article.

The booklet invites people to connect, create, and imagine a better world. It includes activities like mask making, puppet making and poetry. We have packaged it up with a selection of different art material. We sent these packs to 600 families across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

We are grateful to Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum, Nottingham Together and ChalleNGe for supporting the packs’ production.
