Enjoy these fantastic films created by the Young Producers at City Arts. They are our contribution to Junction Arts’ Our Place project.

The group collaborated with Luke Radford and Toby Curson to make the films. They received mentoring and instruction from the professional filmmakers. Together, the films aim to capture the vibe, personality and rebellious creativity of Nottingham.

About Our Place

Our Place was a partnership project led by Junction Arts, showcasing the people and places of the East Midlands.

Junction Arts commissioned 7 artist residencies, in 7 communities across the region. They were asked to co-create new work that is representative of place. A final broadcast bringing together all the projects premiered online in September 2021. Information about the project is exhibited in The Window Gallery at City Arts, as part of the Young Producer’s ‘(un) rest’ takeover of the building.
